With more than 15 years’ experience as a Business Development Consultant and more than 25 years in nursing, Colleen is able to integrate her clinical and business experience in a manner that drives results. She has worked closely with the federal and civilian medical research community — bringing innovators, researchers and potential end-users together — and has introduced numerous emerging medical technologies, therapies and services to federal and civilian institutions.
Colleen has worked as an advisor, Government Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager and Clinical Educator for a variety of organizations, including: AstraZeneca, Smith &Nephew, Care Flight, Impact Instrumentation, Masimo, Medtronic, Physio Control, Pyng Medical, Regional EMS Authority, Rescue Essentials, Securisyn Medical, Twin Star Medical, Tribalco, VidaCare and Zoll Medical.
She is an Adult and Pediatric Critical Care Nurse and Civilian Flight Nurse, working in both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft and is a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN). She has presented at national and international conferences on civilian and military casualty evacuation, air medical transport, and adult and pediatric critical care.
Colleen has also worked for large teaching institutions, including: All Children’s Hospital and Bayfront Medical Center (St. Petersburg, FL); Children’s Memorial Hospital and Rush University Center (Chicago); Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston (Houston); and Renown Regional Medical Center Children’s Hospital (Reno, NV).
Colleen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Tampa and is a member of the Air and Surface Transport Nurses Association (ASTNA), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) and American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN).
